THE DESIGN PROCESS
THE DESIGN PROCESS
A piece of bespoke jewellery usually starts with a rough sketch. Working closely with our client, we draw first design ideas with an inspiration in mind. Depending on client’s requirement and the design we offer both – old school hand-drawn sketches and the computer aided design – CAD.

HAND-DRAWN SKETCHES
A key stage of the design process is to draw a series of sketches on paper, from various angles to be able to visualize the whole construction of the piece.
We like to keep you closely involved in this process and the sketches can be amended until the final design is reached. If you are based outside of London we can email you sketches and guide you through the whole process.

CAD
Another option is using Computer Aided Design – CAD. This 3D process can enable you to more closely visualize how the finished piece will look.
Whether you are looking for a unique engagement ring or wedding band, one-of-a-kind statement ring, necklace, earrings or another piece of jewellery, we can bring your vision to life.

PRECISE DESIGN
We draw the design on the computer and then render to allow you to see the realistic image of your bespoke design. This will allow you to see your bespoke piece of jewellery with total perfection, being able to visualize all different stones and metal colours. This will give you a chance to tweak the design before the manufacturing process begins.

IDEAS COME TO LIFE
If you are still unsure, a resin, wax or silver prototype of the piece can be made in advance of manufacturing.
Every bespoke jewellery commission begins with no-obligation chat about designs, so if you are interested in having a bespoke piece made please contact us at info@zuzanajewellery.com or call us for an appointment in our London’s atelier to chat about your ideas.
